Courses
The Basics programs are designed
to give a basic overview to the various Asset-Based Lending and Factoring
topics. These programs are generally geared towards entry-level professionals
with 3 months to two years of industry experience.
ABL & Factoring Basics Workshop

ABL & Factoring Basics Workshop is a comprehensive two-day program
designed to give a soup-to-nuts overview of the ABL & factoring
industries, and allow new employees to understand asset-based lending

ABL Basics for Underwriters

The
ABL Basics for Underwriters Workshop is a two day course created to
help the underwriter hone his/her skills in setting up lending parameters
on prospective deals by underwriting how all the pieces fit together.
A full discussion surrounding the interpretation of data and ratios
will be had, and how they should influence how the new loan facility

Account Management Workshop

The
Account Management Workshop is a comprehensive three-day program covering
a variety of issues and topics specifically related to managing asset-based
lending relationships. Effective communication, both external and internal,

Collateral Control Workshop

The Collateral Control Workshop is a comprehensive two-day
program covering every aspect of collateral monitoring, operations management
and loan administration. Attendees will walk away understanding the
importance of their job and the knowledge to strengthen the staff as

Field Examiner School (+)
The Field Examiner School is a three-day program covering
every aspect of field examination techniques and practices. Participants
will learn to be their organization’s “eyes and ears” through on-site
analysis of accounts receivable, inventory, cash, fixed assets and all
other forms of collateral. More

Financial Statement Analysis
(+)
An
intensive financial analysis course focusing on drilling down on the
balance sheet and income statement of the borrower/prospect to arrive
at true liquidity and viability ratios. More

Machinery and Equipment Appraisal Workshop
(+)
A
one-day program designed to help lending personnel understand various
machinery & equipment appraisal concepts, appraisal frequency, application
of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice, desktops
versus on-site appraisals, red flags in appraisals and other topics.

Inventory Valuation Workshop

The Inventory Valuation Workshop is a three-day program,
which focuses on the role of inventory as collateral in secured transactions
from a variety of viewpoints. This program is the only one of its kind
in the country, and the only place to get an all-encompassing view of

Intermediate
programs take a more in-depth look at the industry topics covered. Professionals
with at least 6 months experience are recommended for these programs.
Fraud Awareness Workshop (+)
The Fraud Awareness Workshop is a three-day program
presenting best practices in the prevention and detection of borrower
fraud while also recommending fraud prevention procedures for a variety
of ABL disciplines. Reinforcing each learning point through numerous
case studies, the goal of the program is for participants to understand
their roles in mitigating the risk of fraud within their organizations.

The Operations Workshop is a two-day program that focuses
on the daily duties of the Operations Specialist and how to glean important
data from information submitted by the borrower. The extrapolation and
analysis of key indices will be taught to the analysts so that emerging

Courses
Geared
towards managers and senior level professionals, the advanced courses
drill down into the specifics of the different Asset-Based Lending
and Factoring topics to give professionals the education they need
to better their departments. Account managers, loan officers and
those at the senior level of field examination will find the advanced

Account Management Workshop

The Advanced Account Management Workshop is a three day course designed
to assist the Account Manager in navigating complex issues pertaining
to borrowers in asset based lending especially in a difficult economic
