devoted exclusively to the asset-based financial services
industry. Editorial matter is directed toward practitioners
of asset-based financing. Readership includes top-level
management within the industry, lending officers,
credit executives, operations personnel, attorneys,
accountants and management of companies providing
services to this fast-growing field. Readers look
to The Secured Lender to keep them informed
and current about the industry.
Features
Each bimonthly issue contains several feature-length
articles dealing with specific topics of concern to
CEOs and senior managers. Articles are written by
industry experts. Typical subject matter ranges from
lender liability to sales and marketing, financial
controls and budgeting, legal and legislative developments,
industry software, and management functions. Featured
in each issue is a Small Independents' Corner, International
Trade Services' Corner, and Accountants' Corner. If
a subject affects asset-based lending, it's covered
in The Secured Lender.
Departments
Each issue contains sections on legal notes, federal
and state legislative reviews, U.S. Senate and House
Committees, calendar of industry events, CFA member
news, book reviews and an advertisers' index.
Unsolicited Articles
The Editor welcomes suggestions for articles. Upon
acceptance of a specific story idea, material received
at The Secured Lender is subject to normal
editorial policies and requirements. Articles should
be 6 to12 pages double-spaced (2,000 word minimum
and a 4,000 word maximum). Footnoting should be done
as sparingly as possible. A brief biographical sketch
of the author, as well as a black and white photo
and a summary of the article (30 words or less), should
be included. Articles must be submitted at least 8
weeks prior to publication date. The Secured Lender

Convention Issue
In addition to the regular circulation, the November/December
issue of The Secured Lender is distributed
to all attendees at the annual convention of the Commercial
Finance Association. The convention attracts over
1,500 industry leaders, attorneys, accountants and
suppliers to the industry.
Subscriptions
Published six times a year. Subscriptions are $24
per year for CFA members, $48 non-members.
