UN Legislative Guide
CFA Provides Support
for UN's Legislative Guide
On Secured Transactions
For the last two years,
the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law
(UNCITRAL) has been drafting a guide to assist countries
that wish to update and modernize their laws relating
to secured transactions. The Commercial Finance Association
has been actively involved in the drafting of the legislative
guide on secured transactions since the process began
in 2002 and continues to play a key role in its development.
The UNCITRAL Working Group on Security Interests met recently
at UN headquarters in New York City to continue its work
